Project Overview

The IT Edge team worked with the ACANA / Philadelphia Africatown team to create a beautiful new website for the Africatown project. This complex website included many pages for cultural highlights, experience and tour options, community projects, media, social media links, and more. https://philaafricatown.org/

Objective

The Africatown project needed a robust and engaging website to serve as the digital hub for cultural awareness, events, and community engagement. The vision was to create a platform that not only shares the story of Africatown but also provides visitors with opportunities to learn, connect, and participate in community initiatives.

Approach

The IT Edge team partnered closely with ACANA and Philadelphia Africatown leaders to design and develop a visually captivating and content-rich website. Our goal was to balance cultural storytelling with practical functionality, ensuring the site could grow alongside the project.
