IT Helpdesk Technician

West Chester based Managed Services Provider is looking for a Helpdesk Technician. We are a team of 15 techs that provide a wide variety of services and support to small and mid-sized businesses. Job requires strong personal skills as customer service is the highest priority. Must be detail oriented, good with documentation and have critical thinking skills to troubleshoot. Great opportunity to learn a wide range of IT skills and create your own future growth. Salary is $40k-$45k range based on experience. The ideal candidate is someone who prefers to work in an office environment and enjoys helping others. Position can grow into working remotely for the right person.
As a Helpdesk Technician, your primary duties include:
- Showing professional and courteous service while assisting the clients with their requests.
- Learning our ticketing system and following pre-established guidelines for troubleshooting.
- Researching and resolving as many problems as possible on your own. Then learning when to reach out to the other techs when you need help. Need the proper balance of self-learning but not frustrating the clients with downtime.
- Taking requests from the dispatcher and account managers and scheduling yourself with the clients.
- Updating Connectwise Manage in real-time. That would mean creating tickets when you take a call or receive an email. Updating ticket notes with email correspondence. Performing time entry by the end of the day. Entering all new configuration information learned.
- Routine Server Maintenance for client servers.
- Potentially Working 1 evening per week from 5pm-9pm on Extended Support. You’ll be able to do this from your home and is based on availability. Overtime is paid for these hours.
Below is a list of IT Edge benefits:
- Annual Salary
- Year End Bonus. Typically 5-10% of the salary. In cases where the employee is the direct reason for extraordinary income, the bonus is above 10% and open to anyone who can perform at that high level.
- Medical – we offer 3 plans from Independence Blue Cross. There is a PPO and 2 HMO plans to choose from. We also include Dental, Vision and Prescription plans. IT Edge pays 65% or 75% or 85% of the premium based on the medical plan you choose. Employee pays the balance regardless of single, married or family status. IT Edge pays 100% of the Dental premium. Benefit start the 1st of the month after hire date.
- 401k – we have a fully qualified plan which most small businesses do not. Employees can contribute as much as they want into their retirement. IT Edge contributes 3% of your salary into the plan regardless if they contribute or not. Benefit starts immediately upon hire.
- Section 125 Cafeteria Plan – This is a 3-part plan. First, it allows medical premiums to be paid with pre-tax dollars. Second, it allows employees to contribute up to $2600 per year into a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) that is paid with pre-tax dollars and you can carryover a max of $500 to the next year of unused money. Third, it allows employees to contribute up to $5000 per year for dependent daycare.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) – each employee is given 15 days each year. After you have been here 5 years, you get 1 additional day for each year of service until you max out at 20 days.
- Holidays – we give 10 paid holidays per year.
- Birthday Cash – $100 to say Happy Birthday. After 5 years, increases to $200. After 10 years, increases to $500.
- Cell Phone Reimbursement – $50 per month for cell phone reimbursement. You keep your own cell phone.
- Education Reimbursement – we will pay for or reimburse for any technical training or certifications you wish to pursue. We do not pay or reimburse for college credits.
- Flexibility – we have a simple approach, as long as the work gets done, you can do what you need. Meaning if you need to schedule personal things, no problem, just make sure the work gets done. This includes working remotely once you are able to independently handle your work.

We are a team of 15 techs that provide a wide variety of services and support to small and mid-sized businesses. You will start on our Helpdesk to learn our system and build your support skills. You will grow into heading onsite to handle installation of new hardware and troubleshoot client issues. Job requires strong personal skills as customer service is the highest priority. Must be detail oriented, good with documentation and have critical thinking skills to troubleshoot. Great opportunity to learn a wide range of IT skills and create your own future growth. Salary is $45k-$50k range based on experience. Ideal candidate is someone with 1 year of helpdesk experience looking to take their career to the next level. We have also found that individuals working in other industries who are good with IT, quick learners, and are looking to shift to IT for their career, make great candidates.

As a Network Field Technician, your additional duties include:
- Setup of new PCs and other hardware at client sites. Migrating data/programs from old to new PCs.
- Troubleshooting wide variety of PC & Network issues onsite that cannot be resolved remotely.
- Recurring alignment visits to verify servers, PCs and network are in good health.

Salesforce Developer

West Chester, PA based IT consulting company is looking for a Salesforce Developer/Consultant. Looking for someone with programming and ideally, CRM experience. Position requires strong critical and creative thinking skills. Also, you need the personal skills to be able to talk directly with clients. Ideal candidate needs to be able to teach themselves and continually grow in their knowledge base while demonstrating an ability to apply their knowledge in problem solving for clients. Salary range $55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year. Must be able to meet once per week at our office in West Chester, PA. Competitive Salary and strong benefits.
- Perform configuration tasks related to client projects in the Salesforce.com platform.
- Project Management. Setting and meeting customer expectations related to task delivery.
- Self-training and attaining Salesforce certifications.
- Collaborating with more senior consulting staff as well as working with sub-contractors to deliver projects as a team.
- Updating multiple management programs (Toggl, Wrike & ConnectWise) with project related information and time entries in real-time.
- Occasional trips into the field to consult at client sites.
